Ken Chisholm

Office Manager

Ken has over 30 years of specialized experience, mainly from the financial services industry. He joined the WK Financial team in the spring of 2004 and is the Office Manager.

He takes pride in ensuring that the company is functioning soundly and that the decision making that takes place behind the scenes is done with the same professionalism and care that the advisors display when dealing with clients. He is honest, integral and loyal. He received his Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

A life long resident of Stratford, Ken with his wife Mary, remain active in the Stratford community where they have raised their 5 children.

Betty Watson

Administrative Assistant

Betty takes great pride in assisting in the achievement of clients’ goals and her attention to detail is a notable strength. Betty has been an Administrative Assistant at WK Financial Planning Ltd. since 1997. She assists the advisors in an administrative role so they can be instrumental in implementing financial plan recommendations to the clients.

Betty continues to stay educated in this quickly changing industry. She takes various courses and attends industry workshops to ensure that she can continue to assist the advisors with all aspects.

Betty was happy to be involved in a community fundraiser to help support breast cancer research. She has lived in Stratford with her husband Russ for the past 10 years. They have three grown children and four beautiful grandchildren.

Heather McNutt

Administrative Assistant

Heather has been eagerly learning the ropes at WK Financial since joining the team in April 2023. Heather has been assisting the advisors with administrative tasks required, therefore the advisors can provide their clients with undivided attention towards their financial needs.

Heather attends webinars and workshops frequently to stay on top of the changes and ever evolving times within the business. Heather received a diploma in Business Administration, Accounting & Computers at a private business college as she was eager to get into the business field without delay.

Heather is involved in the Alzheimer’s and Dementia support groups, learning every possible way to help support her family and friends navigate through the disease.  Heather has lived in Huron County for the past 30 years, whether it be in the country or urban setting. She has a grown child and a beautiful grandchild she enjoys spending her time away from work with, keeping up with a small one keeps Heather on her toes.

Lizzy Mathieson


Lizzy joined our team in the summer of 2023, and is responsible for the receptionist duties and assisting the advisors with all insurance needs.

Lizzy was born in Stratford and was raised just outside of town on her family farm. In 2022 Lizzy graduated from Fanshawe College with an advanced diploma in Office Administration. Lizzy is eager to learn more about the Insurance business and hopes to continue her career and education in the Insurance field.

Outside of work you can find Lizzy spending time with her friends, family and her Bernese Mountain dog, Maisy. 

Whether she greets you with a smile when you walk into the office, or with a friendly voice over the phone, Lizzy happy to help you with anything you may need.
